“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Light vs. Darkness
My friends, read this Scripture slowly. Then pause and reflect.
What darkness is Jesus speaking of?
If Jesus is the light, who is the darkness?
Satan.
Scripture tells us that Satan was cast down from heaven and now works to deceive the whole world (Revelation 12:7–9). His purpose has never changed: to lead humanity away from God and into darkness.
During a moment of deep anguish, when I pleaded to leave this earth, the Lord clearly told me, “No. You cannot leave yet. I have work for you to do.” And He said, “Go warn.”
In a vision, I saw the two eyes of a man whose body was covered in darkness that spread across the earth like black lava, trapping many who could not escape. With deep sorrow, I was again charged to go warn.
My friend, Satan, wants you to believe that true happiness and fulfillment are found in this world. He offers false promises—delusions meant to lead souls to destruction (Revelation 20:10–15).
We are living in a spiritual battle for our souls. Darkness exists to deceive, just as it did in the Garden of Eden. We must ask God to open our eyes to see the truth clearly.
Choosing the Light
Does following Jesus mean we will not face trials?
No.
Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
Satan will continue to oppose God’s people until Jesus returns. But God never forces us—we must choose the light.
Our peace is found in God’s promises, including this hope:
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain” (Revelation 21:4).
The old has passed away. A future awaits where darkness will be no more (Revelation chapter 21–22).
Reflection
Do you truly believe in Jesus, or has belief become a cliche?
If you truly believe, your life will be transformed. The Word of God will search and cleanse your heart from the inside out (Hebrews 4:12–13).
