Hebrews 3:2-4 NIV
He was faithful to the one who appointed Him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house. Jesus has been found worthy of the greater honor than Moses, as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. Every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.
I have always loved the Christmas holiday. However, as I continue to grow in my relationship with Christ, God through the Holy Spirit has opened my eyes to see how I, just like most Christians, have fallen for the concept of baby Jesus instead of recognizing the power that entered the world to

Hebrews 6:19-20 NIV
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.
This week we will be celebrating Thanksgiving holiday with the entire country. The act of being thankful is not a one-day celebration for every person who understands the height which God has rescued them from. We have so much to be thankful for daily. Let us reflect on what it means when we say thank you Jesus for saving us. As we read

Hebrews 11:6 NIV
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Have you seen the old cartoons where there are two figures on each shoulder of a character trying to convince them the right actions or path to go? One is depicted as an angel, and the other as a devil. This visual picture is a daily battle for every human being in this world. It is easy to say that we believe in God. The question is, do we believe in God or know of God? What does it mean to profess that God through Jesus

Hebrews 13:14-15 NLT
For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.
This passage brought me to the story in Luke 16:19-31 about the Rich Man and Lazarus. As we are cruising in this world, living our lives, which side of the Chasm or in simple terms the great void is your permanent home? You can avoid the fact that there is an end for each of us on this earth, but that does not erase the fact that your soul has a destination according to the personal choices that you make while living on this earth. Jesus says the day will come, “But about that day or hour no

Hebrews 12:14-15 NIV
Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.
This week we will be celebrating Thanksgiving in the United States. I hope every day is a Thanksgiving Day for each of us because Jesus died and rose from the dead so that we can be set free from the bondage of sins. That is a gift we should be thankful for every day! Nonetheless, it is something special when a nation allows a national day to focus on

Hebrews 10:23 NIV
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
Have you found yourself working hard to remain focused on the promises of God? Let’s be real! Saying that God is faithful and trusting God’s faithfulness during trials are very different. Jesus understood how much faith it takes for us to hold on to God’s promise when he addressed doubting Thomas. “Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (John20:29).

Hebrews 1:3 NIV
The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Do you want to know the intimate part of God? Spend time with Jesus who is God's Word in the flesh (John 1:1-14). Is your life falling apart where nothing seems to be working out? Allow Jesus who is the sustaining force of all things and powerful words to transform your life (Hebrews 4:12-13). Jesus is ready to change your
