Weekly Reflection

Revelation 12:7-12 CJB

Next there was a battle in heaven — Mikha’el and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.  But it was not strong enough to win, so that there was no longer any place for them in heaven. The great dragon was thrown out, that ancient serpent, also known as the Devil and Satan [the Adversary], the deceiver of the whole world. He was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.  Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “Now have come God’s victory, power and kingship, and the authority of his Messiah; because the Accuser of our brothers, who accuses them day and night before God, has been thrown out! “They defeated him because of the Lamb’s blood and because of the message of their witness. Even when facing death they did not cling to life. “Therefore, rejoice, heaven and you who live there! But woe to you, land and sea, for the Adversary has come down to you, and he is very angry, because he knows that his time is short!”

This month of October 2024 begins a journey that compels me to step into my spiritual destiny until I meet Jesus’ face to face again.  The next few months’ reflections will echo the essence of my journey. I did not understand what Jesus meant when he said to me in a vision between the age of nine and ten, while giving me a Bible, I will one day understand.  As I have done for many years during my prayer and supplication, in January 2024 I asked Jehovah to reveal my next step in this season of my life.  I pleaded with God if he is done with me, I am ready to go home.  Jesus Showed up again and reminded me the reason he rescued me from the bondage of Satan as a little girl.  Jehovah showed me why I must stay a little longer in this temporary dwelling and charged me to go warn the world about Satan’s campaign against their souls. Read my newest Devotion on heisthelight4you.com titled “The Call to Obedience: Yes, Lord I will Go!”.

You will either reject or heed the warning to save yourself from falling into Satan’s trap. As God said to Ezekiel, he knows the stubbornness of the people whom he is sending me to but woe to me if I choose to not obey the voice of my creator who will hold me accountable for not warning the world (Ezekiel Chapter 3).  I am not called to debate about the law, as Apostle Paul says in Titus 3: 9-10, these arguments are “unprofitable and useless.”  Sorry to disappoint my critics! I am not interested in your intellectual philosophical arguments because I already know that I am an unschooled and ordinary person who has been rescued from the hostility of Satan and has been called by the most intellectual philosopher of history, Jesus Christ Himself (Acts 4:13).  Honestly, I would prefer to mind my own business and serve my Lord Jesus Christ until he takes me home.  That is exactly what I was pleading for him to allow me to do when My Savior himself showed up just as he did when I cried to him at a young age and told me to go warn the world.  Yes! Jesus is known to take the foolish things of this world to shame the wise and the weak things of this world to shame the strong. As an example, just look at the people he surrounded himself with during his ministry (1 Corinthians 1:27). My first book is coming out this winter titled “A Daughter’s cry and a Father’s Response.” He heard my cry again 36 years later and responded. Although he did not grant me what I desired that night which was to be with him, he gave me a daunting task that only he can accomplish using my vessel.  As I have always said from the start of this ministry, I am not a Bible guru but a sinner who has been touched by a healer. I am committed to tell the world about this healer, Jesus Christ.  My task is to warn the world of their true enemy which is the Devil who is angry knowing that he has been defeated and his time is short. Satan and his demons will stop at nothing to bring as many of us to hell with him.  His goal is to use his demonic spirits to turn people away from God’s eternal kingdom. My prayer for everyone who heeds the warnings and listens to the messages, don’t become fixated on Satan! Rather, be mindful of his schemes to deceive the whole world and lead as many to the fires of hell that is reserved for him (Revelation 20:10 & 15).  Be vigilant and focus on the power through Jesus Christ’s blood that is available to set you free! Satan is a fake god who mimics the true living God. God will destroy the serpent’s crusade at the appointed time and all those who choose to be in his army during their time on this earth (Mathew 8:29, Revelation chapter 20). Let us strive to fight in God’s army to enter the Holy City that our creator reserved for us who respond to his gift through Jesus’ blood. To God be the glory! Amen!
